UAN’s main programs serve animals directly by providing financial assistance or volunteer support.

Emergency Animal Rescue Service (EARS)  

Shelters and cares for animals displaced by natural disasters and other crises, such as criminal seizures and hoarding cases, in the United States and Canada.


Humane Education Ambassador Readers (HEAR) 

A unique community-based literacy program that helps children develop empathy and critical thinking skills through stories and discussion.



 

LifeLine Grants

Provides funding to Good Samaritans, animal rescuers, non-profit organizations and pet owners to help them care for animals in life-threatening situations.


Zig Zag Reward 

Helps local agencies prosecute animal abusers by offering financial incentives to individuals who witness cruelty and choose to speak up.
